Our Vision For Family Ministries
Corinth FUMC Family Ministries serves to help our congregation be more relevant, inclusive, invested, and equipped in ministries related to children, youth, and college-age persons.
This team works in collaboration with our Associate Pastor, and the leadership from both the Youth Ministry and Children Ministry. They are to ensure that our congregation has experienced guidance and substantial resources to:
- Plant seeds of faith and theological exploration while providing a healthy, nurturing, safe spiritual community in which those seeds can grow.
- Partner with parents to help encourage young people to identify and embrace talents, passions, and strengths and to become committed to service, action, and justice.
- Provide leadership training for parents and young people within the local church and in outreach ministries on local and global levels.
- Facilitate a safe and hospitable setting in which all persons may experience the transforming, reconciling love of Christ and grow to be leaders in the church and the building of the Kingdom of God.
We are passionate about equipping and connecting people of all ages for service through mentoring, discipleship, teaching, service projects, missional outreach on both local and global levels.
