The music ministry of FUMC of Corinth is composed of a number of ensembles that lead the church in worship throughout the year. We are fortunate to have music opportunities for every age church member and for a wide variety of musical interests and abilities. Groups that meet weekly include the Chancel Choir, children’s choirs and Sanctuary hand bells, and Transformers hand bells.
The choirs and bells lead in the weekly worship services and present special programs throughout the church year. The adult choir provides music for services throughout Holy Week, including either a Service of Shadows on Good Friday or a Maundy-Thursday Service. All of the ensembles participate in the joyous celebration of Easter. The children plan special programs at Christmas and the end of the school year. All of the church musicians prepare a musical Christmas present for the community that is presented the week before Christmas.
